In June, about 700 housing co-op volunteer leaders and managers from across Canada will gather in London, Ontario for the CHF Canada Annual Meeting. The meeting will give housing co-ops the tools and the understanding to prepare for the future, so you won’t want to miss it.

Here are just some of the highlights

Choose from over 30 workshops at the Member Education Forum (June 10, 11). Here are the full workshop descriptions. You will also find the workshop descriptions in the registration package which was sent to you in February.

The Co-operative Management Conference (June 9, 10, 11) provides plenaries and workshops for staff of housing co-ops. You can find full workshop descriptions on this web site.

Have your say about policies, programs and priorities at the National Business Meeting (June 12). Join with others from your region at the Ontario members meeting and other regional caucuses (June 11).

Registration, nominations and mailings

Your co-op can submit a resolution to be debated and voted on at the AGM. The deadline to submit resolutions is March 1, 2010.

You can run for a position on the CHF Canada Board of Directors, Ontario Council or the Finance and Audit Committee.

You can also nominate your co-op for the Jim MacDonald Award for Social Change (March 15 deadline).

The registration package was mailed to all members on February 19 and contains all of the information needed to register, as well as the full workshop descriptions.

The completed resolutions package and Annual Report will be mailed to members and posted on our website on April 28th, 2010.

The Meeting Information book will be given to participants onsite.
