After 40 years, co-operative housing is needed more than ever

CHF Canada celebrates 40th anniversary by looking to the future

CHF Canada celebrated its 40th anniversary by launching a new book about the history of co-operative housing in Canada. 

But most of the meeting was focused on the future.  Members heard from author Thomas Homer-Dixon, who delivered the keynote address called Resilience and Renewal – Co-operative Housing in a time of turmoil.

Members passed resolutions, elected new members to the Board of Directors, Ontario Council and Finance and Audit Committee, and honoured co-ops and individuals who have made a difference to our movement.
