CHF Canada is the national voice of the Canadian co‑operative housing movement. Our more than 1090 members and associates include 895 non-profit housing co‑operatives as well as organizations that are closely linked with housing co‑operatives. Quebec housing co‑op are affiliated indirectly, through membership in regional federations that hold membership in CHF Canada. Individuals or firms that support CHF Canada's aims may join as non-voting associates.
Membership in CHF Canada is voluntary. More than eight out of ten housing co‑operatives outside of Quebec are members of CHF Canada.

- co‑op management companies, which are in the business of providing property management or services to occupied housing co‑operatives

This honorary position is granted to individuals who have given special service to CHF Canada. It confers the right to speak at the annual meeting, but not to vote.
