What is the Southern Alberta Co-operative Housing Association (SACHA)?
SACHA was founded in 1989 to serve and represent the housing co-operatives of southern Alberta, particularly Calgary. There are nearly 20 SACHA members – all also members of CHF Canada. SACHA provides a range of services to members and the general public.
SACHA takes an active part in the lobbying activities organized nationally by CHF Canada. A staff member represents the association at CHF Canada’s Federations Committee.
How is SACHA run?
SACHA is governed by a board of five directors. The federation employs three part-time staff members.
