The successful management and governance of each housing co-op is improved when managers and directors get effective training. CHF Canada's Ontario Region offers workshops and presentations to keep members up to date on current issues and help them operate under the Social Housing Reform Act and other provincial legislation.

We often work with regional federations that deliver regular education programs for housing co-ops.

At our annual meeting we offer education workshops to co-op volunteers and managers on a range of governance and management issues. And we run other education events throughout the year.

We also develop written and web materials to help co-ops operate well. The Resource Centre has resources and general information on management and governance of a housing co-op. Funding programs in the Resource Centre has specific information for co-ops that operate under the Social Housing Reform Act.
