The Social Housing Renovation and Retrofit Program (SHRRP) is a $704-million funding program announced by the federal and Ontario governments in their 2009 budgets. SHRA co‑ops are eligible for funding under this program administered by municipal service managers.

Federal-program co‑ops are eligible for a similar program administered by the Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation.
