Resolution 2: Helping co-ops in high-vacancy neighbourhoods

WE RESOLVE:

1. THAT CHF Canada continue its campaign to lobby Canada Mortgage and Housing Corporation and the Agency for Co-operative Housing to provide immediate relief to housing co-ops that are suffering heavy financial losses because of past reductions in federal funding of rent-geared-to-income subsidies;

2. AND THAT the CHF Canada campaign focus particular attention on the needs of housing co ops that are affected by both subsidy cuts and high vacancy rates.
