A Brief to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing

CHF Canada’s Ontario Region has sent a brief (pdf) to the Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing, the Honourable John Gerretsen.

The brief calls on the government to overhaul the Social Housing Reform Act to

• create a more businesslike operating framework
• get rid of oppressive rent-geared-to-income (RGI) program rules
• put co‑op members back in control of their housing.
