Communications and the Ontario Region

The Ontario Region is committed to two-way communication: keeping housing co‑ops, federations, and other members informed about important issues in Ontario and hearing back from them. Our staff are just a phone call or e-mail away. Both council members and staff regularly attend meetings of regional federations, as well as special co‑op events. Our annual meeting is an opportunity for Ontario members to talk with one another and with Ontario Council members.

Three periodicals help members keep up to date:

The Ontario Edition of NewsBriefs brings information of general interest to all Ontario members and associates of CHF Canada.

Bulletin for Ontario-program co‑op gives co‑ops information about work at both the provincial and municipal levels.

SHRA Details is an educational series to help SHRA co‑ops understand and comply with the Social Housing Reform Act. 

The Ontario Region issues media releases about recent developments that affect our members. And we publish Co‑op Housing News: an E-mail Bulletin for Municipal Service Managers to share information and keep service managers up to date on issues of concern to the co‑op housing sector.
